Logan Paul addressed the origin of Jey Uso’s popular catchphrase during a preview of his upcoming IMPAULSIVE podcast featuring Michael Cole. The former United States Champion claimed to be the original creator of “Yeet,” backing his assertion with footage from a previous music video.
During the interaction with Cole, Paul discussed the widespread use of the term:
I was the original Yeet, by the way.
When Cole questioned if Jey had stolen the catchphrase, Paul responded:
Yes, and I am sending him a cease and desist.
The discussion comes as Jey Uso continues his successful singles run on RAW, where he secured victory in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match by eliminating John Cena. Uso has chosen to face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 41.
