Michael Cole Drops Shocking Revelation on Feelings Under Vince McMahon

Michael Cole detailed his experience in WWE’s evolving leadership environment during an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. Cole shared his perspective on working under Vince McMahon compared to the current leadership structure.

I was never really able to break out. Vince was very hands-on, and everything had to fit his vision. It was his sandbox.

Cole pointed to the noticeable changes in WWE’s creative approach under Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan’s leadership. The company’s direction has shifted significantly, allowing talent more creative expression.

We’re allowed to have bigger personalities now. You’re seeing the real Michael Cole—the guy who crowd surfs, who gets on tables, who jokes around. That would’ve never happened under Vince. For the first time in my career, I really felt like I was important to this place. The paycheck was part of it, but the way the new regime treats us… it’s night and day.

Cole revealed that his wife’s advice influenced his decision to continue his career with WWE, telling him: “This is your legacy.”
