Karmen Petrovic earned an NXT Women’s North American Championship match after winning a triple threat contest on the February 18 edition of WWE NXT. The match concluded when Ashante Adonis assisted Petrovic in securing a quick roll-up victory over Kelani Jordan, while Jaida Parker was distracted by the crowd.

After the match, Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker engaged in a physical altercation. Petrovic’s celebration was cut short when Fatal Influence members Jazmyn Nyx, Jacy Jayne, and Fallon Henley launched an attack during the commercial break. The situation drew out a response from Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace, and NXT Women’s Champion Giulia.

The championship match between Petrovic and Vaquer is set for February 25 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Petrovic now has an opportunity to capture her first championship, facing Vaquer who holds the title previously held by Fallon Henley.
