Seth Rollins has addressed his attack on Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble. On Raw, WWE announced that Roman Reigns would be sidelined for the foreseeable future after Rollins delivered two Stomps at ringside during the premium live event in Indianapolis.
During an appearance on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rollins explained his actions. The World Heavyweight Champion pointed to Reigns’ behavior during the 30-man Royal Rumble Match, where both men and The OC were eliminated by CM Punk.
Roman got a little feisty in the Rumble and I had to stomp his head into the ground. So, that’s how it’s going to be.
The attack occurred after Punk’s elimination from the match, when Rollins delivered the consecutive Stomps to his former Shield partner at ringside.
