Fightful Select reporter Sean Ross Sapp addressed Corey Graves’ status with WWE during this week’s edition of The Hump. According to Sapp, WWE continues to view Graves positively despite his recent social media controversy.

The situation stemmed from Graves expressing frustration on X after his reassignment to NXT commentary. He stated he was told he lacked sufficient fame for main roster announcing duties. The posts were subsequently deleted after gaining widespread attention.
Graves transitioned to commentary in 2016 following his in-ring retirement due to concussions. He and his wife Carmella celebrated the birth of their son in November 2023.
