Top WWE Star Asks Fans to Stop Trying to Frame Her

During an appearance on HUGE POP! with Donnie DaSilva and Jimmy Korderas, Naomi addressed speculation surrounding Jade Cargill’s recent attack. The incident occurred when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis showed footage of Cargill being loaded into an ambulance, with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez present at the scene.

Why do they do that to me? Do you think I’m that horrible? Do you think I’m that conniving and that evil that I would try to kill her? Whoever did it, that was attempted murder. That was crazy. That was insane.

When Jimmy Korderas made a reference to Rikishi’s past storyline with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Naomi dismissed any similarity to her current situation.

I may get the Stink Face from my daddy, but I did not get trying to kill Jade from him. No! No! That is my sister, that is my girl, and I’ll be glad when we get to the bottom of this because I’m being framed.

Naomi spoke highly of Cargill’s impact since arriving in WWE, suggesting jealousy as a potential motive for the attack.

She’s phenomenal. She’s one of one. The sky is the limit. There are no limits for her, and I think that’s why whoever did what they did, did it—because they see where she’s going. She’s an undeniable star and is gonna do history-making things in this division. Whoever it was just couldn’t handle that or had some jealousy or some hateration going on, but we gonna get to the bottom of it, you know? And we’re gonna get sister back.

WWE continues investigating the assault on Cargill as Elimination Chamber approaches.
