Jimmy Uso will face Drew McIntyre this Friday on WWE SmackDown, with significant implications for his future on the blue brand. The former WWE Tag Team Champion appears to be in a developing feud with McIntyre, having delivered a superkick to The Scottish Warrior backstage during last week’s show after McIntyre attempted to mock him.
A loss to the former World Heavyweight Champion could potentially result in Jimmy Uso departing SmackDown for a move to Raw. This shift would align him with his brother Jey Uso, who will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
The potential brand change could set up a backstage segment between the brothers, with Jey possibly encouraging Jimmy to join him on Raw to provide support against Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser. While Jey prepares for his championship opportunity at WrestleMania, Ludwig Kaiser may factor into the match, potentially interfering to help the Ring General retain his title.
If Jimmy makes the move to Raw, he could either begin a program with Ludwig Kaiser or become a permanent fixture on the red brand alongside other members of the OG Bloodline. This Friday’s SmackDown will also feature additional Bloodline action as Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu take on Cody Rhodes, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest, while The Rock is scheduled to make an appearance.
