WWE Teasing Major Returns for Upcoming Show

The new development-focused series, which replaced NXT Level Up, features aspiring wrestlers competing for developmental contracts under the guidance of established industry veterans. Michelle McCool, who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025 this April, has also been confirmed for a future appearance on the program.

The A&E broadcast, which airs Sundays as part of WWE’s programming block, represents the company’s continued expansion during what many consider an exceptionally successful period. WWE has recently secured major partnerships with Netflix, introduced new talent like Penta, and launched additional programming, all contributing to the company’s strong start to the year.

WWE has assembled multiple Hall of Famers to participate in upcoming episodes, including Eric Bischoff, Sean Waltman (known as X-Pac), Ric Flair, and Brian James (Road Dogg). James was recently elevated to the position of SmackDown head writer while maintaining his involvement with the talent development program.

The second episode of the 99-minute series airs this Sunday at 8 pm ET on A&E. According to the official synopsis, viewers will see the top four competitors participate in a mixed tag match before a sold-out arena, while remaining roster members receive guidance from their assigned legend mentors before competing in matches observed by both peers and coaches.

The weekly program’s format combines in-ring competition with behind-the-scenes content, featuring Triple H, Shawn Michaels and other officials overseeing talent development. Additional established mentors include The Undertaker, Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, and Mickie James, who provide guidance to performers throughout their journey on the show.
