John Cena Makes Major Announcement Ahead of Elimination Chamber

John Cena confirmed that tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 will be his final appearance in this match type. The announcement comes as WWE holds its last premium live event before WrestleMania 41, with six competitors vying for a championship opportunity.

Cena shared this declaration on his X account hours before the premium live event in Toronto. The 47-year-old wrestler will compete against CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins in the six-man Elimination Chamber Match. The winner earns the right to challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

In his social media message, Cena emphasized the significance of tonight’s match and its connection to his retirement plans.

Tonight, I walk into the my final #WWEChamber match to secure my final #WrestleMania main event. Toronto is the place where I announced I would retire, and tonight is gonna be an event you can’t miss.

Reports from backstage sources indicate Drew McIntyre is expected to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match. The premium live event begins later today with multiple championship matches also scheduled on the card.
