The Rock posted a message for Cody Rhodes on social media just hours before WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto. The post included three promotional images alongside his written statement.

The Rock addressed Rhodes directly in his social media post, referencing their ongoing storyline about Rhodes potentially joining him.

Walk side by side with me, my brother @CodyRhodes. TONIGHT the City of TORONTO will never be the same when you become my champion and give me your soul. The American Nightmare will live forever. Do the right thing, and I’ll see you tonight at the Rogers Centre. ~ final boss.
