WWE is less than 50 days away from WrestleMania 41, with four major matches confirmed for the premium live event. Triple H addressed whether women could potentially main event one night of WrestleMania during a recent post-show press conference.
The WWE CCO stated that a women’s main event remains entirely possible for the two-night spectacular.
“It’s always possible,” Triple H noted when asked about the possibility of women headlining the event.
Triple H emphasized that no match positions are predetermined at this stage of planning.
As we build this, to me, nothing is locked into any spot. As we build this, what resonates the most will become the main events. So, nothing is locked in
The WWE CCO believes this approach creates the most competitive environment for talent.
I believe that for talent, that’s the best way to do it. Let everybody fight over the spot. Let everybody work their ass off
Triple H reinforced his belief that match placements should be earned rather than given.
Take it. Make it undeniable. That’s what I want talent to do. I want talent, I want everybody that is a part of this to make it undeniable that they should be in the spot that they should be in.
Currently, four major matches are set for WrestleMania 41, including Main Event Jey Uso challenging Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena will face Cody Rhodes for the WWE Universal Championship at the premium live event. Bianca Belair will challenge either IYO SKY or Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Title. Charlotte Flair will face Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at the Las Vegas event.
