Key Details About WWE’s 2025 Australia Return Revealed

WWE is officially returning to Australia later this year. Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed the company’s plans during his appearance at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.

Levesque revealed the information while speaking at the event, casually stating, “We have Perth coming up in the fall.” This timeframe places WWE’s Australian return somewhere between September and December 2025.

The announcement confirms previous reports from The Western Australian Newspaper about a significant partnership between WWE and the Western Australia government. The agreement was finalized before the WA government entered caretaker mode in February.

According to these reports, WWE and UFC—both under TKO Group Holdings—secured a multi-event deal with the Western Australian government. The agreement includes five events over the next 18 months.

The Perth portion of the deal features WWE staging a three-night takeover at RAC Arena. Fans can expect a complete WWE weekend experience including Friday Night SmackDown, a Premium Live Event, and Monday Night Raw.

RAC Arena, with its 15,500-seat capacity, will once again serve as the epicenter for WWE’s Australian presence. The venue previously hosted WWE events with notable success.

This marks WWE’s first return to Australia since February 2024’s Elimination Chamber. That event featured Australian-born Rhea Ripley defending her Women’s World Championship against fellow Australian Nia Jax.

The 2024 Elimination Chamber event generated significant economic benefits for the region. With this expanded agreement now in place, WWE’s presence in Australia appears to be growing stronger.

While Levesque has confirmed the fall timeframe, WWE has yet to issue an official announcement with specific dates for the Perth shows.
