Seth Rollins has highlighted a major improvement to WWE’s work environment under Triple H’s leadership, specifically pointing to the dramatically reduced schedule for performers.
Speaking to Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata on WFAN, Rollins discussed how WWE has evolved to become more performer-friendly compared to when he joined the main roster.
The business has changed so much, it’s evolved so much, and it’s so much more, you know, user-friendly I suppose, for us as performers. The schedule is way pared down even from when I started back in 2012. I went from wrestling 200-plus matches a year to now maybe doing like 50 at most
This schedule reduction represents a significant shift from WWE’s traditional approach, where wrestlers frequently performed six nights per week with extensive travel commitments.
Triple H, who experienced the demanding schedule during his in-ring career, has implemented these changes since taking over as Chief Content Officer.
Rollins signed a new multi-year contract with WWE in 2024. The deal reportedly includes substantial financial compensation for the RAW star, who has previously stated his intention to remain with WWE for his entire career.
