Chad Gable made his return to WWE Raw on March 10 following his quest to master the dark arts of lucha libre. Gable’s return came during the Tornado Tag Team Match between The New Day and the LWO’s Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.
After going on a quest following Royal Rumble, Gable was shown in a taped video on the March 3 episode of Raw paying for a box that supposedly gave him power beyond his understanding.
During the tag match between The New Day and the LWO, a masked man interfered and attacked Dragon Lee. The attacker then slammed Mysterio onto the apron before executing a suplex. The masked individual wore an “American Made” mask and shouted “Gracias” – a telltale sign pointing to Gable.
The masked attacker quickly fled through the crowd after the assault. His interference allowed The New Day to pin Mysterio and secure the victory.
Gable had previously stated his intention to study lucha libre after coming up short in his earlier confrontations with Mysterio and Lee, setting the stage for this masked return.
