Ricochet Reacts to Major AEW Announcement

Ricochet has set his sights on the AEW International Championship following his loss to Swerve Strickland at Revolution. The high-flyer will begin his championship pursuit this weekend in the Eliminator Tournament to determine Kenny Omega’s challenger at Dynasty.

Strickland secured victory in their rematch at the pay-per-view, gaining retribution against Ricochet and earning a world title opportunity in the process.

Ricochet wasted no time moving forward after his defeat, immediately targeting the International Championship currently held by Kenny Omega. He will compete in the tournament beginning this weekend on Collision.

His first-round opponent will be Katsuyori Shibata, whom Ricochet directly addressed with a bold challenge. Ricochet suggested Shibata could avoid a beating by simply not showing up for their scheduled match.

The tournament features eight competitors total, with all participants aiming for a championship match against Omega at Dynasty. Two matches in the tournament will take place tonight, with an unnamed wildcard set to make a surprise appearance.
