AJ Styles sent a supportive message to Indi Hartwell after her WWE release in November 2024, encouraging her not to give up on her wrestling career.

Hartwell shared the encouraging words from Styles in her latest vlog update, revealing what the veteran performer told her following her departure from the company.

Keep battling, don’t quit. The reason for everything is always there. Don’t let this be the end of the story. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

Hartwell resumed her wrestling career in Australia after her WWE exit, winning the Renegades of Wrestling Women’s Championship.

The Australian wrestler competed against Mercedes Mone at House of Glory City of Dreamz on March 15. This marked Mone’s first independent match since 2012.

Styles dealt with his own career challenges recently. During a separate interview, he revealed a foot injury nearly forced him into retirement.

The former World Champion suffered the injury during a match against Carmelo Hayes in October and didn’t return to action until the 2025 Royal Rumble.

WWE Reportedly Canceled Major AJ Styles Match on SmackDown

WWE changed plans for SmackDown in Barcelona, replacing AJ Styles with hometown performer Axiom against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in a non-title match.

WWE canceled a previously announced match between AJ Styles and Gunther for the March 14 edition of SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain. The company replaced Styles with Spanish wrestler Axiom for the non-televised match.

The sports entertainment company had initially publicized the Styles versus Gunther match without specifying whether it would be televised or dark (non-televised).

During Friday’s SmackDown in Barcelona, Gunther entered the ring and insulted the local crowd, stating he wished he was in Madrid instead. The World Heavyweight Champion then issued a challenge to Axiom, who made his main roster debut in front of his home country audience.

Axiom, currently one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, stepped in to replace Styles against Gunther. The Spanish crowd enthusiastically welcomed their homeland competitor for this special appearance.

Gunther defeated Axiom in a dominant performance to conclude their contest. Following the match, the Imperium leader applied a sleeper hold on Axiom, leaving him unconscious in the center of the ring.

This post-match assault appeared to send a message to Gunther’s WrestleMania 41 opponent, Jey Uso, ahead of their championship match at WWE’s premier event.

AJ Styles Questions Logan Paul’s Privileged WWE Position

During a recent episode of RAW Recap, AJ Styles expressed concerns about Logan Paul’s immediate placement in high-profile WWE positions without traditional wrestling experience.

AJ Styles has raised questions about Logan Paul’s accelerated path to prominence in WWE during his appearance on RAW Recap.

Styles, who spent over two decades working through major promotions like TNA and NJPW before joining WWE in 2016, compared Paul’s rapid rise to spoiling a child.

It’s like giving your kids everything they want before they even work for anything. They’re spoiled, right? And I would say it’s kind of the same thing with Logan Paul. He thinks he can just come to a WWE ring. Not an independent wrestling ring like the rest of us had, or maybe at least the PC to train a little bit. He has done none of that and thinks he belongs in our ring? We’ve paid our dues. We’ve done what we’ve had to do to get to where we’re at. Logan Paul hasn’t.

Styles pointed out that Paul headlined Crown Jewel against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship during his rookie year, marking only his third match in the company.

The former WWE Champion stated he plans to make Paul endure significant pain, which will either strengthen Paul’s resolve or cause him to leave wrestling entirely.

Styles has issued a challenge to Paul for a match, which could potentially take place at WrestleMania in Las Vegas on April 19-20.

Logan Paul Confronts Comedian Andrew Schulz During WWE Raw

AJ Styles interrupts Logan Paul’s confrontation with comedian Andrew Schulz during Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden after Schulz criticizes Paul.

Logan Paul began his Raw segment at Madison Square Garden to overwhelming negative crowd reaction, with fans loudly booing and barely allowing him to speak. Paul discussed WWE Elimination Chamber, expressing surprise at Cody Rhodes rejecting The Rock’s offer while praising John Cena’s decision to turn heel after 20 years.

After offering his allegiance to The Rock, Paul acknowledged comedian Andrew Schulz in the audience and approached him at ringside. When Paul asked why Schulz attended Raw, the comedian replied that he came to see the Steel Cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk.

Schulz then took a direct shot at Paul, stating that nobody in New York City came to Raw to see him, as the city only cares about real wrestlers. Paul responded by forcefully bringing Schulz into the ring.

Before Paul could escalate the situation, AJ Styles’ music hit and he rushed to the ring, causing Paul to retreat and preventing any physical confrontation with the comedian.

The Steel Cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk serves as the main event for this week’s Raw from Madison Square Garden, continuing their rivalry that began at Survivor Series 2023.
