Major Update on WWE Survivor Series 2025
Fightful Select reports WWE plans to bring Survivor Series 2025 to San Diego, potentially creating a homecoming for Rey and Dominik Mysterio in the city with the 619 area code.

WWE is considering San Diego, California as the location for Survivor Series 2025, according to a report from Fightful Select.
While an exact date has not been announced, the premium live event has typically been scheduled for the weekend following Thanksgiving in November during recent years.
The potential San Diego location would represent a homecoming for Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The city holds special significance for Rey, as the San Diego City Council officially proclaimed June 19 as “Rey Mysterio Day” in 2018, honoring his legendary finishing move and the city’s 619 area code.
Survivor Series has traveled to different locations in recent years. The 2024 edition, branded as Survivor Series: WarGames, took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The 2023 Survivor Series featured a Men’s WarGames match that pitted members of The Bloodline against each other, with CM Punk and Bronson Reed also participating.
The 2022 premium live event saw Punk make his return to WWE following the Men’s WarGames match in his hometown of Chicago. That match resulted in Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso emerging victorious.
WWE recently confirmed another homecoming event with Backlash, scheduled for May 10 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which is Randy Orton’s hometown. John Cena is also advertised for the upcoming Backlash premium live event.

Jey Uso’s Quick RAW Win Crushed on WWE YouTube with Dislikes
Jey Uso’s 29-second victory over Austin Theory on March 17 Raw receives negative response on WWE’s YouTube channel, with 61,000 dislikes versus 13,000 likes.

WWE’s YouTube upload of Jey Uso defeating Austin Theory in 29 seconds on March 17 RAW from Brussels received 61,000 dislikes and 13,000 likes as of March 19.
According to WrestleVotes on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass podcast, the match had a different planned structure.
This match was spaced out for 11 minutes last night. I don’t know if Cena drawing out the opening of the show affected it, I know it affected other things on the show.
WWE has announced Theory and Grayson Waller will face Jey Uso and a mystery partner next week on Raw in Glasgow.
Joe Hendry responded to speculation about the mystery partner position.

TV Azteca reports El Patron confronted fans who were throwing coins and beer at him. After attempting to jump the guardrail, El Patron moved to the left side of the venue and entered the crowd. The female fan required medical attention at the venue before being taken to the hospital.
Fan footage captured El Patron throwing the chair before fans retaliated with projectiles, including another chair. El Patron then returned to the ringside area.
The ban prevents El Patron, the current AAA Mega Champion, from performing in Tijuana until September. According to Rob Viper, the restriction only applies to the city of Tijuana, allowing upcoming AAA tapings in Ensenada and Rosarito, Baja California to proceed as scheduled.
