Adam Copeland Hints at Beth Phoenix's Potential AEW Debut
Adam Copeland discusses possibility of Beth Phoenix joining AEW following her WWE contract expiration, citing family considerations as a major factor.

Adam Copeland hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Beth Phoenix stepping into an AEW ring despite her current family commitments following her WWE departure.
During a recent TV Insider interview, Copeland addressed the growing speculation about his wife potentially joining the AEW roster after her WWE contract expired without renewal.
When asked specifically about Phoenix potentially squaring off against Marina Shafir, Copeland kept the door open while explaining their current situation.
“You never know. I don’t think she’s completely closed the door on it if the situation fits,” Copeland revealed, suggesting Phoenix hasn’t completely dismissed the idea.
The AEW star noted that the company opted to involve Willow Nightingale in the storyline since she’s already on the roster and connects naturally with fans.
Family dynamics play a significant role in their decision-making process according to Copeland’s candid explanation about their home life balance.
Beth is also very busy. She has a very busy life, so it becomes more of a family thing and how we can deal with that if we’re both extroverts.
AEW’s women’s division continues to evolve, with Britt Baker already publicly expressing interest in seeing Phoenix join the promotion.
While nothing’s confirmed, Phoenix’s wrestling experience and legacy would make her a valuable addition if the family logistics could be worked out.
