Giulia's WWE NXT Training on Hold Amid Injury Speculation
Former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia has been absent from training following her title loss to Stephanie Vaquer, with reports suggesting a possible ankle injury.

Something’s up with one of NXT’s most captivating stars. Giulia has been conspicuously absent from in-ring action since dropping her championship gold to Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock, sparking widespread speculation among the WWE fanbase.
Sean Ross Sapp addressed the situation on the Fightful Select Podcast after Jordynne Grace posted footage showing Giulia backstage at a recent NXT taping.
I have asked half a dozen people in the company about this and they said that Giulia is around, but hasn’t been participating in class and drills since the Stephanie match. One person mentioned like a possible ankle thing. I don’t know, I’m working on it, but I’ve heard that she has not been participating in classes.
This development explains Giulia’s limited role at the March 22 NXT live event, where she appeared in a non-wrestling segment to attack Cora Jade. While physically present and involved in storylines, she’s clearly being protected from taking bumps in the ring, suggesting WWE is managing some form of physical limitation.
The situation has already impacted creative plans, with the originally slated Stand & Deliver triple threat match involving Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jordynne Grace reportedly being reconfigured as a singles bout between Vaquer and Grace. There’s talk that Jaida Parker could potentially fill the third position if plans shift again, but for now, WWE seems to be playing it safe with their international sensation until whatever’s holding her back gets resolved.
