Nia Jax Reveals New Details About Her Controversial WWE Absence
Nia Jax directly responds to injury speculation after being off WWE TV since March 1, confirming she is not injured via social media post.

Nia Jax has broken her silence regarding her extended absence from television, addressing growing speculation among fans. The former champion has been missing from WWE programming for over a month, prompting questions about her status.
Taking to X on April 6, Jax responded directly to fan speculation about her physical condition. When a user questioned if she was dealing with an injury, Jax replied with a straightforward message:
No, she is not, I asked her.
Jax’s last television appearance came at WWE Elimination Chamber on March 1, where she teamed with Candice LeRae in a losing effort against the duo of Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus. Her absence has been particularly notable following her prominent position in recent months.
The timing of this extended hiatus comes after a shift in momentum for Jax. After what many considered a career-best 2024 that included winning the Queen of the Ring tournament and capturing the WWE Women’s Championship, 2025 began with Jax dropping her title to Tiffany Stratton on January 3. Her subsequent championship pursuits, including challenges for both her former title and Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship, proved unsuccessful.
This isn’t the first time Jax has needed to address injury speculation, as she previously denied similar reports just days before her most recent social media statement. While confirming she’s not injured, Jax offered no timeline for her return to WWE television.
