The post-WrestleMania 41 edition of RA featured a shocking confrontation between two of WWE’s most decorated competitors. Randy Orton made his presence felt during John Cena’s segment, delivering an unexpected attack on the 17-time world champion.

Orton appeared for the first time since capturing the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. His surprise return came during Cena’s in-ring promo where Cena had revealed he has only 27 dates remaining on his retirement tour. During the segment, Cena stated he no longer needed to wrestle and threatened to “take the WWE Championship with him”. Before Cena could continue, Orton interrupted and delivered his finishing move, the RKO.

Following the physical encounter, Orton took to social media with a message directed at his longtime rival. “Hello, old friend”, Orton wrote alongside an image capturing the moment just before the attack. The post signaled the rekindling of one of WWE’s most storied feuds.

The confrontation marks the first time these two veterans have squared off in this new chapter of their careers. Upon winning the WWE Championship, Orton had promised to “continuar arruinando o wrestling” (continue ruining wrestling), a mission he appears to be pursuing by targeting Cena during his farewell tour.
