Grayson Waller has responded to the fallout from his A-Town Down Under teammate Austin Theory’s match against returning star Sheamus on the May 5 edition of WWE Raw. The segment began with Waller appearing to have second thoughts about a previously requested match after learning his potential opponent from General Manager Adam Pearce.

In a strategic pivot, Waller transferred the match opportunity to Theory without disclosing Sheamus would be the opponent. The returning Celtic Warrior made his first televised appearance since February’s Royal Rumble, ultimately defeating Theory. Following the match, Waller took to Twitter with seemingly supportive words:

However, eagle-eyed fans noted Waller appeared to smile during Theory’s loss, fueling speculation about tension within the tag team. The incident marks Sheamus’ proper return to WWE programming after recent house show appearances against Bron Breakker during the Road to WrestleMania 41.

The situation continues A-Town Down Under’s recent storyline developments, as Theory now deals with the consequences of Waller’s match arrangement while the team navigates potential internal conflict. WWE has yet to confirm if this will lead to an official breakup of the duo, who have been paired together since 2023.
