A WWE Draft could be on the horizon, with recent reports indicating it might take place towards the end of May 2025. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio suggested the timing could coincide with WWE’s series of events in Tampa, Florida.
Alvarez stated, “But I was told it’s not set in stone, but very likely at the end of this month, when they’re doing that series of dates in Tampa, it’s very likely there might be a draft on that weekend or that week, which would probably mean that some people are being called up.”
He noted recent women’s roster cuts could be to make room for NXT talent. “For whatever reason, Giulia and Roxanne are still considered NXT talents,” Alvarez said, adding Perez has been a main roster regular since Royal Rumble. He also mentioned Stephanie Vaquer and Kelani Jordan as potential call-ups.
WWE is scheduled for four consecutive nights at Tampa’s Yuengling Center over Memorial Day weekend, including Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE Battleground, WWE RAW, and NXT. WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE still intends to hold a Draft this year.
