AEW performer Darby Allin announced through an Instagram post that he achieved the feat of reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The successful ascent took place over the weekend of May 17-18, 2025.
As part of this accomplishment, Allin confirmed he raised an AEW flag at the mountain’s peak, an act he had previously indicated he intended to perform. In his social media update, he shared his reaction to the experience and conveyed his appreciation, stating, “Mount Everest summit. What a ride thanks @aew for everything in life. Thanks to the amazing team at adventure consultants and the Sherpa squad this sht was wild!”*
