WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has augmented the card for tonight’s May 23, 2025, broadcast from the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, announcing additional matches and a new segment just hours before the Friday night program airs live.
Via a social media video, Nick Aldis detailed the new additions to the blue brand’s program. In tag-team action, Rey Fenix and Jimmy Uso are now scheduled to compete against JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu. Another newly announced singles match will pit Chris Sabin against Tommaso Ciampa.
Aldis also announced that R-Truth is scheduled to address the WWE audience this evening. R-Truth will be speaking about his forthcoming match against John Cena, which is set to occur at this weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special, airing on NBC and Peacock.
These late additions join an already significant lineup for the Friday night show from Savannah. Viewers can also anticipate two crucial Money In The Bank qualifying matches: Charlotte Flair, Zelina Vega, and Giulia will compete in a triple threat match, and another qualifier will feature Aleister Black, LA Knight, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Additionally, the WWE Tag-Team Championships will be on the line as The Street Profits defend against FrAxiom.
