Michael Cole Set for WWE RAW Attire Change Following NBA Bet Outcome

WWE commentator Michael Cole will alter his on-air appearance for an upcoming WWE RAW broadcast as a consequence of an NBA-related wager with fellow commentator Pat McAfee. The bet was disclosed on the May 19 episode of WWE RAW.

The terms stipulated that if the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks in their best-of-seven NBA Eastern Conference Finals series, Cole would be required to call an edition of WWE RAW wearing a tank top. Conversely, had the Knicks emerged victorious, Pat McAfee would have had to call the show in a full suit.

The Indiana Pacers won the series against the New York Knicks with a 4-2 result, securing their series victory in the sixth game on May 31. This outcome means Michael Cole must fulfill his part of the wager. The Pacers are now slated to compete against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2025 NBA Finals.

The next broadcast of WWE RAW is scheduled for June 2, which would be the first opportunity for Cole to appear in the stipulated tank top. This particular episode serves as the final show before Money in the Bank on June 7.

The June 2 WWE RAW will also feature the last qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank ladder matches. CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano will compete for the final spot in the men’s match, while Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan, and Ivy Nile will vie for the last position in the women’s match.
