Pat McAfee has addressed his three-week absence from the WWE RAW commentary desk, citing personal exhaustion as the reason for his hiatus. The broadcaster provided the explanation during a recent edition of The Pat McAfee Show.
“I will not be commentating,” McAfee stated. “Continuing to catch up on life as a whole. Post-Money in the Bank, Pre-Night of Champions. Feels like a good time. I was getting pretty exhausted there. Shoutout to everybody in WWE looking out for me, too. Very thankful.”
During McAfee’s absence, WWE utilized other members of its broadcast team to fill the vacancy. Wade Barrett served as the replacement commentator three weeks ago, and Corey Graves has handled the duties for the past two weeks alongside Michael Cole.
While speculation has surfaced regarding a potential return for McAfee next week, there is currently no official confirmation of his comeback date. McAfee returned to a full-time commentary role with WWE earlier this year, joining the RAW brand.
