Now a free agent, former WWE performer Shotzi Blackheart is channeling her passion for horror into a new project, announcing plans to produce and host her own wrestling event this October. With her experience hosting NXT’s Halloween Havoc, Blackheart intends to create her own spooky-themed show on the independent circuit.
The event is being conceptualized as her unique take on the Halloween Havoc theme she was known for in NXT.
Appearing on the “In The Weeds” podcast, Shotzi detailed her vision for the show, which stems from her departure from WWE after her contract expired on May 3, 2025. Her newfound freedom allows her to pursue independent ventures, including a confirmed debut for Major League Wrestling at the “Summer of the Beasts” event in New York City on June 26th.
“I have already pitched this,” Shotzi stated. “Come October, you’re definitely going to see a Shotzi show coming somewhere. I don’t want to give too many details away. I hosted Halloween Havoc for years and I want to host another show in October. I’ve already got stuff cooking up. I’ll be hosting a show. I want to see it gimmicked up. I want everyone to have a spooky gimmick. Everyone spinning the wheel and making a deal. I’m going to bring my own version of Halloween Havoc to you this October.” HT Fightful
