A recent report from Fightful Select indicates that Vickie Guerrero is expected to return to WWE programming within weeks. Guerrero, a former General Manager for both RAW and SmackDown, reportedly informed multiple individuals that she would be back with the promotion for an upcoming program.
Guerrero’s anticipated return has led to speculation regarding her potential involvement in the Evolution Premium Live Event, scheduled for July 13 in Atlanta. The timing of her rumored comeback aligns with the second-ever all-women’s event, fueling the possibility of her participation.
Guerrero, the widow of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, was a prominent on-screen character from 2005 to 2018. During that period, she served as a valet, wrestler, and General Manager. She departed from her full-time role in 2014 but made several sporadic appearances, including participation in the first Women’s Royal Rumble Match in 2018.
After her departure from WWE, Guerrero joined All Elite Wrestling in 2019. Her contract with AEW expired in July 2023. During her time with AEW, Guerrero stated that WWE had “cut her off.” However, the relationship appears to have been mended. Guerrero was seen backstage and on-camera during a WWE SmackDown taping in September 2024, where she participated in a post-show segment. She has reportedly maintained a positive relationship with WWE since her departure from AEW.
Since leaving AEW, Guerrero has maintained a lower public profile, currently working as a travel agent in Texas. In 2023, she was involved in a public family controversy when her daughter, Sherilyn Guerrero, accused Vickie’s husband, Kris Benson, of sexual assault. Vickie Guerrero and Benson denied the allegations, and she publicly stated she was disowning her daughter.
