Recent online rumors suggesting that Karrion Kross has backstage issues due to an unwillingness to take “flat back bumps” have been strongly refuted by multiple sources within WWE, as well as the superstar himself.
The speculation originated from comments made by Wade Keller of the PWTorch during a June 16 podcast. Keller claimed that wrestlers he had spoken with were reluctant to work with Kross, alleging that he was “scared to bump” and that this was hindering his main roster career.
However, a new report from Fightful Select published on June 27 directly contradicts these claims. According to the report, multiple WWE producers who have worked on Kross’s matches stated they have never encountered any issues with him being hesitant or refusing to take bumps. The report also noted that other talent on the roster reached out to confirm they have had no problems working with Kross.
Kross personally addressed the situation in a recent interview with The National while promoting WWE Night of Champions. He dismissed the rumor with amusement.
“I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest,” Kross said.
This clarification comes as Kross prepares for a significant singles match against Sami Zayn at the Night of Champions premium live event tomorrow, June 28. The match marks his first PLE appearance since WrestleMania 40.
