Liv Morgan’s Stalker Faces Up To 5 Years In Prison

A 41-year-old Canadian man is facing federal charges in Florida for allegedly stalking WWE superstar Liv Morgan. The man, Shawn Chan of Scarborough, Ontario, faces a potential sentence of up to five years in prison if convicted.

According to a federal affidavit, the events began on May 26 when Chan flew from Toronto to Orlando, telling customs officials he intended to stay at the WWE Performance Center. On May 31, he arrived at Morgan’s private residence. Security footage reviewed by police shows Chan on the front porch attempting to open the door and looking for a spare key.

The affidavit details that Chan then picked up a Sig Sauer MCX .177 air rifle that had been left in the porch area. He was observed sitting with the pellet gun before again approaching the front door. After loitering on the property for approximately two hours, Chan left a handwritten note for Morgan.

“I came here to pay just a friendly visit, nothing more… Yea, I just wanted to let you know that I was here,” a portion of the note read. He also included his home address and phone number.

On June 3, security at the WWE Performance Center recognized Chan and alerted police, who took him into custody. Morgan, who was not home during the incident, later told authorities she was concerned that her home address had become public. She noted that this was the third time an uninvited individual had appeared at her residence and explained that she does not bring fan mail into her home due to the volume of concerning messages she receives.

Chan was indicted on June 25 and is currently being detained at the Pasco County Detention Center. He is scheduled for an arraignment on July 18 in federal court on one count of interstate domestic violence. This incident highlights a dangerous trend for wrestling personalities, similar to a 2020 case where former WWE star Sonya Deville’s stalker was sentenced to 15 years in prison after breaking into her home.
