Jacob Fatu’s New Ally Teased For Imminent WWE Debut

The fallout from WWE Night of Champions has ignited speculation of a wider Anoa’i family war, fueled by a cryptic social media post from Zilla Fatu. Hours after his cousin, Jacob Fatu, lost the United States Championship, Zilla’s message hinted that he may be the next family member to enter the conflict.

The title change occurred on Saturday after Solo Sikoa captured his first main roster singles championship, but the victory was far from clean. Jacob Fatu was systematically dismantled by Sikoa’s new Bloodline faction. The interference began with JC Mateo distracting the referee, followed by the return of an injured Tonga Loa, who attacked Fatu from behind. The decisive blow came from the debuting Tala Tonga (formerly Hikuleo), who chokeslammed Fatu onto the announce table, allowing Sikoa to hit the Samoan Spike for the win.

Zilla Fatu, son of the late Umaga, responded to his cousin’s plight by posting a single telephone emoji on X. The message was widely interpreted as a signal that he is just “one phone call away” from arriving in WWE to even the odds. This sentiment was echoed by another family member, Lance Anoa’i, who is currently signed to NXT but sidelined with an injury. Anoa’i posted a photo of himself with Jacob Fatu, hinting that backup is on its way.

These developments underscore the narrative of Jacob Fatu being isolated, as his primary ally, Jimmy Uso, was absent from Night of Champions. Zilla has been open about his ambition to join WWE, having previously pitched a “Tribal Warfare” storyline that would see him and Jacob Fatu team up. With Solo Sikoa’s faction growing, Zilla’s potential debut now appears more imminent than ever.
