A new match with significant future implications has been added to the card for WWE’s second all-women’s premium live event, Evolution II. The announcement was made during the June 30 episode of WWE RAW, revealing that a battle royal will take place at the event.

The winner of the multi-woman match will earn a championship opportunity at the Clash in Paris event, which is scheduled for August 31. While no competitors have been named for the battle royal, it is expected to feature talent from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, potentially alongside returning legends.

This addition further builds the card for the July 13 event in Atlanta, which will also feature a highly anticipated Women’s World Championship match. The reigning champion, Iyo Sky, interrupted Rhea Ripley at the start of RAW to issue a direct challenge. Sky, who received permission from General Manager Adam Pearce to choose her opponent, stated she wanted to face the “best,” leading her to select Ripley.

Ripley accepted the challenge, setting the stage for a rematch with the woman who defeated her for the title back in March 2025. Their history also includes a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41 where Sky retained against both Ripley and Bianca Belair. The challenge from Sky came just as Ripley was about to deliver what WWE had advertised as a “huge message.”

The updated card for WWE Evolution II also includes a defense of the NXT Women’s Championship, with Jacy Jayne set to face Jordynne Grace. Additionally, a Fatal 4-Way match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship will see champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defend against three yet-to-be-determined teams from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
