After months away from All Elite Wrestling to complete his ascent of Mount Everest, Darby Allin is poised for an imminent return to company programming. A recent report from Fightful Select indicates the former TNT Champion’s comeback could happen very soon.
Allin reportedly completed his journey without any major injuries and is considered physically ready to compete. An earlier hope within AEW was to have him back for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, but the timing of his expedition ultimately made that schedule unfeasible.
With Allin now back in the United States and prepared for action, attention turns toward the AEW All In: Texas event on July 12. While no creative plans are confirmed, sources inside the company have stated they would be surprised if he is not involved in the pay-per-view in some capacity.
His official return to television has not been announced. However, the milestone 300th episode of AEW Dynamite on July 2 has been noted as a potential stage for his reappearance, as has the upcoming 100th episode of AEW Collision.
