The landscape of the WWE Women’s Tag Team division was significantly altered during this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. Following a dramatic reunion, the decorated team of Asuka and Kairi Sane, The Kabuki Warriors, were officially added to the championship Fatal 4-Way match scheduled for Evolution.
The reunion materialized after Kairi Sane’s singles match against one-half of the tag team champions, Roxanne Perez. Following the bout, Perez and her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, launched a two-on-one assault on Sane. This prompted Asuka to storm the ring, fighting off both champions and officially reforming the alliance for the first time in nearly 14 months.
With this development, the championship match for the all-women’s premium live event on Sunday, July 13, is now set. The Kabuki Warriors will represent the RAW brand, challenging the champions Rodriguez and Perez. They join a field that also includes Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair from SmackDown, and the NXT team of Sol Ruca and Zaria.
