Former Top WWE Champion Reveals She is Not Part of Evolution Plans

Former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Victoria has confirmed she will not be part of the upcoming all-women’s Evolution premium live event scheduled for July 13. The WWE Hall of Famer addressed her status during a recent Instagram Live session, putting an end to fan speculation about a potential appearance.

Victoria stated directly that she was not scheduled for the show and also revealed she is currently dealing with a health issue.

“I will not be at Evolution, I didn’t get booked. My back is kind of funky I’ll be honest with you.”

This news places Victoria alongside other former champions, like Michelle McCool, who have also confirmed they were not contacted for the event. The show is set to feature the return of legends like Trish Stratus and Nikki Bella, who will participate in a battle royal for a future title opportunity.

Victoria’s announcement comes less than a year after she signed a WWE Legends contract in August 2024, a deal that followed her induction into the Hall of Fame that same year. While the contract allows for merchandise and use of her likeness, it does not guarantee in-ring appearances. Her last official match in a WWE ring was a surprise entry in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble. Her most recent match overall took place in January 2023 for TNA.
