
Scott Stanford, a familiar voice and face on WWE programming for a decade and a half, announced his departure from the company. The broadcaster confirmed the end of his 15-year run in a social media post on July 9, 2025.
In his announcement, Stanford expressed a positive outlook on his long tenure and left the door open for a potential return in the future.
“When you walk out of the studio on your last day @WWE! 15-year run… nothing but love!“Hope to make it back one day! @TripleH @StephMcMahon @HeymanHustle.”
The message was accompanied by a video that captured Stanford receiving a round of applause from numerous WWE employees during his final exit from the studio. The footage underscored the mutual respect and positive relationships he built within the organization.
Stanford’s career in WWE began in 2009. He became a staple of the company’s studio content, hosting various recap shows including Bottom Line and This Week in WWE. He also served as a host for the pre-shows for both WWE RAW and SmackDown and provided commentary for the WWE Superstars program until its cancellation in 2016.
Outside of his wrestling roles, Stanford is a decorated journalist, currently serving as a morning anchor for 1010WINS/92.3FM in New York and as a co-host on The Suki & Scott Show on USA Today. He is also a multiple Emmy Award winner.
