With the return of WWE’s all-women’s premium live event this Sunday, Saraya has addressed the possibility of an appearance at Evolution. The prospect carries a particular weight for the former champion, who was forced to miss the inaugural 2018 event due to a severe neck injury that had sidelined her from competition.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Saraya discussed the bittersweet nature of the original show and her openness to participating this time around.
“It’s like a bittersweet thing, because the first one, I couldn’t be on it because of my neck. So if I had the opportunity to be on this all-female pay-per-view, of course, yeah, I would think about it.”
This speculation follows Saraya’s departure from AEW in March 2025, which has positioned her as a prominent free agent. Her last match occurred on the October 8, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite in a four-way contest.
The second-ever Evolution event will take place on Sunday, July 13, from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, marking the first time in seven years that the company has produced an all-women’s card.
