Liv Morgan Sends Message to Top Champion Ahead of WWE Evolution

Even from the sidelines, Liv Morgan continues to have a presence in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship picture. The injured star recently shared a message on social media for Roxanne Perez, the wrestler who replaced her as co-champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez.

Ahead of the title defense at the Evolution premium live event on July 13, Perez took to X, addressing both her partner and the sidelined Morgan.

“You can count on me @raquelwwe @yaonlylivvonce.”

Morgan shared the post and offered a brief, direct response to her replacement, wishing her, “Good luck 😄”.

The exchange comes just under a month after Morgan suffered a legitimate dislocated shoulder during a match against Kairi Sane on the June 16 episode of WWE RAW. The injury, which required surgery, forced an immediate stop to the match and took Morgan out of action for what is expected to be several months. As a result, Perez was officially named as the new champion to continue the reign with Rodriguez.

The new champions face a significant challenge at Evolution, where they are scheduled to defend the titles in a four-way match against the teams of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, Sol Ruca & Zaria, and Asuka & Kairi Sane.

Despite her official recovery timeline, speculation persists within industry circles about a potential surprise appearance from Morgan at Evolution. Rumors suggest she could emerge to confront Nikki Bella, with whom she has publicly acknowledged “unfinished business” after their planned match was scrapped due to the injury.

The injury derailed what were reportedly significant plans for Morgan’s push alongside Rodriguez, which was expected to be a featured program heading toward WrestleMania 41. Her absence is part of a recent string of injuries that has impacted several top WWE stars, including Rey Mysterio and Chad Gable, forcing adjustments to major storylines.
