LA Knight Addresses Seth Rollins Injury On WWE RAW

During this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, LA Knight broke his silence on the status of Seth Rollins, his opponent from Saturday Night’s Main Event. In a message delivered during a commercial break, Knight offered a pointed and character-driven take on the situation.

“From the bottom of heart, I wanna wish you a speedy recovery, because I said I wanna take your dignity and I wanna hurt you. I didn’t get a chance because you hurt your damn self!” Knight said, before adding that Rollins should get better so he could hurt him “the right way.”

The comments came just two days after Rollins suffered an apparent knee injury during their match on July 12. The incident occurred when Rollins attempted a backflip, and reports indicate he was later seen on crutches. On the day of RAW, Rollins was in Birmingham, Alabama, for an MRI to determine the extent of the damage, but the results have not been made public.

The narrative surrounding the injury remains ambiguous. While WWE officials like Triple H have stated the issue appears to be legitimate, wrestling journalists have suggested it could be a pre-planned storyline angle. On RAW, Rollins’ advocate Paul Heyman added to the uncertainty, stating he did not have enough information on his client’s condition. Heyman did, however, pointedly remind the audience that Rollins’ Money in the Bank contract is valid until June 2026.

With Rollins sidelined indefinitely, LA Knight appears positioned to capitalize on the opportunity. His victory at Saturday Night’s Main Event has gained new significance, and he was immediately placed in a high-profile spot on RAW, competing in the main event gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
