WWE Makes Major Announcement Involving Roman Reigns

WWE has announced a loaded card for the upcoming July 21 edition of WWE RAW, which will broadcast from Houston, Texas. The show will feature the return of Roman Reigns, who is set to address Paul Heyman, along with major segments involving CM Punk and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch as the path to SummerSlam intensifies.

Following his explosive return on last week’s program, Reigns will appear on RAW to confront his former Special Counsel, Paul Heyman. The confrontation comes after Reigns reappeared on July 14 to save Jey Uso and CM Punk from a post-match attack, creating new questions about his allegiances and plans.

CM Punk is also scheduled to be on the show to speak about his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther at SummerSlam. After winning a grueling Gauntlet match on the July 14 RAW to become the number one contender, Punk will address his opponent and their highly anticipated title clash.

The Women’s Intercontinental Championship picture will see further development as Becky Lynch plans to present a “proposal” to her SummerSlam challenger, Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria earned her title opportunity by defeating Bayley, and given the personal history between the two Irish stars, Lynch’s proposal is expected to add a new layer to their championship match.

The broadcast will feature a critical triple threat tag team match to determine the next challengers for the World Tag Team Championship. The LWO‘s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, the Creed Brothers, and The New Day will compete, with the winners earning a future title match against The Judgment Day.

Two significant rematches will also take place. Sami Zayn will face Karrion Kross in a non-title match, continuing a rivalry that carried over from their previous encounter at Night of Champions. Additionally, Sheamus will get another opportunity against Rusev, a rematch granted by General Manager Adam Pearce after Rusev used an exposed turnbuckle to win their last match on June 30.

As of Friday, 10,835 tickets had been distributed for the event in Houston.
