Roman Reigns Teases Forming a New Faction: “I’m Owed an Army”

Following his return to WWE programming, Roman Reigns has suggested that a new alliance could be on the horizon. His return on the July 14 edition of WWE RAW saw him rescue Jey Uso and CM Punk from an attack by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, marking his first appearance since being taken out by Breakker and Seth Rollins after WrestleMania 41.

In a recent vlog documenting his return to WWE RAW, Reigns spoke about his future and asserted his continued leadership, hinting at the formation of a new group.

“We’ll see what happens. We’ll see how the landscape is. I’m always looking for the key to the kingdom. I believe I’m owed an army, the way I see it. So, I’m still the Tribal Chief. I’m still fit to lead. Believe that,” Reigns declared.

Reigns’ return last week directly confronted one of the men responsible for his absence. At the conclusion of a number one contender’s Gauntlet Match, Breakker and Reed assaulted the winner, CM Punk, and Jey Uso. Reigns emerged to even the odds, clearing the ring and making his presence felt.

The attack serves as direct retribution for events that transpired months ago. On the WWE RAW after WrestleMania 41, Reigns was attacked by Seth Rollins and a newly aligned Bron Breakker, which was preceded by Paul Heyman’s betrayal at the event itself.
