A recent report has provided clarity on the status of Deonna Purrazzo with All Elite Wrestling, detailing her long-term contract and the reasons for her prolonged absence from television.
Despite not competing on an AEW program since February, Purrazzo remains securely with the company. According to a report from Fightful, she signed a three-year deal upon joining in January 2024, keeping her under contract until the beginning of 2027.
Her recent time away from the screen is not related to her standing with the company but rather to logistical and creative shifts within Ring of Honor. The report states that plans for Purrazzo were affected after injuries to other talent caused a delay in the planned tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Champion.
Purrazzo’s last match on AEW programming was a loss to Harley Cameron during the February 26 episode of WWE RAW. While she has been featured more frequently in Ring of Honor, her most recent match for the brand was taped on June 21 and aired on July 10, where she defeated Rachel Ellering in a Pure Rules match.
After joining AEW in early 2024, Purrazzo was prominently featured, immediately challenging for the AEW Women’s World Championship and later engaging in a lengthy feud with Thunder Rosa, which included a heel turn. She also participated in the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament before forming an alliance with Taya Valkyrie.
