Stipulation Added to SummerSlam Title Match

The upcoming WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam will now be contested under no-holds-barred rules. During the July 21 episode of WWE RAW, challenger Lyra Valkyria proposed that her title bout against champion Becky Lynch be made a No Disqualification and No Count Out match. Lynch accepted the terms without hesitation.

The agreement occurred during an in-ring confrontation at Houston’s Toyota Center, where the two traded verbal jabs before Valkyria issued the challenge. This development significantly alters the nature of their planned encounter at MetLife Stadium, transforming a traditional wrestling match into a potential all-out brawl where anything is permitted.

Valkyria secured her championship opportunity after defeating Bayley in a two-out-of-three falls match on the previous week’s RAW.

This outcome represented a change in direction, as internal plans from nearly three weeks ago had reportedly slated Bayley to face Lynch at SummerSlam, leaving Bayley’s status for the major event uncertain.
