Seth Rollins’ Faction’s Days Could Be Numbered

A former WWE star believes the faction led by the injured Seth Rollins may not survive, especially with a major challenge looming at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins’ Faction’s Days Could Be Numbered

The future of Seth Rollins’ new faction is in serious jeopardy, according to former WWE star Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin. With Rollins sidelined by a significant knee injury, Dyer believes the group’s days could be numbered.

The faction, which currently has no official name, was formed after WrestleMania 41 when Paul Heyman aligned with Seth Rollins. The group later expanded to include Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in their bid for control on WWE RAW. However, those plans were abruptly halted when Rollins sustained a knee injury during a match on July 12, an incident WWE officials have acknowledged is “not looking good.”

With Rollins’ return timeline uncertain, the faction’s momentum has stalled. In his absence, Roman Reigns has challenged Breakker and Reed to a tag team match at SummerSlam, with Jey Uso backing him up to seek revenge. This upcoming match, Dyer argues, could be the final blow for the leaderless group.

Speaking on Busted Open, Dyer explained that the group faces an uphill battle, particularly with a likely loss at SummerSlam.

“It’s kind of a weird group because Bron is still trying to find his footing and solidify himself as a top guy and Bronson is working as well. I just think it’s gonna be tough to continue to elevate this group. And putting them in the ring with Roman and Jey at SummerSlam, I’m sorry, Roman’s team is not gonna get beat at SummerSlam. I just don’t see that happening.”

Dyer believes a high-profile defeat would render the group ineffective, making its survival a significant struggle.

“Now, not only is it a group that doesn’t have a name and is kind of just there, now they’re ineffective. So it’s gonna be a struggle.”
