“I’m not 100%. Something is wrong with my right side, but I’m ready to go to war,” Uso stated.
This admission comes just before his scheduled tag team match on Night 1, where he is set to team with Roman Reigns against the duo of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The announcement of his condition adds a new layer of uncertainty to the high-profile bout.
Uso’s statement follows a physically punishing build to the event, which included taking several Tsunami splashes from Reed in recent weeks and a chair attack on the final episode of WWE RAW before SummerSlam.
The on-screen acknowledgment of his physical state also gives credibility to recent speculation that Uso might be removed from the match via a storyline attack, with some rumors pointing to LA Knight as a potential last-minute replacement.
