Paul Heyman has publicly taken issue with WWE’s social media team following the main event of Monday Night RAW. The Hall of Famer criticized the company’s official X account for what he described as a “biased” caption and demanded an immediate change.
The controversy began after WWE posted a clip of Seth Rollins interfering in the main event match between his stablemate, Bron Breakker, and LA Knight. The company’s caption questioned if Rollins was concerned about his upcoming World Heavyweight Title defense at Clash in Paris.
Heyman quickly responded, dismissing the narrative and insisting the focus should have been on Breakker’s performance. “Sigh. @WWE has the most biased caption in the history of biased captions here,” Heyman wrote. “The true caption for this clip should be … #FearTheSpear.”
The incident in question saw Rollins’ interference directly lead to a victory for Breakker over LA Knight. Following the bell, both Rollins and Breakker continued their assault on Knight, furthering The Vision’s strategy of methodically weakening the champion’s challengers ahead of the Fatal Four-Way match in Paris.
“Main Event” Jey Uso was the first to attempt a save, hitting Rollins with a Superkick before being taken out by a Pedigree from the champion. CM Punk then charged the ring, successfully forcing The Vision to retreat.
However, any potential alliance among the challengers quickly disintegrated. A tense standoff between Punk and Knight, rooted in a backstage confrontation from the previous week, erupted into a physical altercation. The brawl ultimately drew in Jey Uso, leaving all three of Rollins’ opponents fighting each other as the show went off the air, a development the World Heavyweight Champion observed from a distance.
