Update on Brock Lesnar’s Status Ahead of WWE Clash in Paris

According to a report from Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar, who has not appeared on WWE programming since SummerSlam, was recently spotted in Medicine Hat, Canada, attending one of his son’s hockey games.

His presence in Canada clarifies that he is not expected to appear at Clash in Paris tonight, despite other reports suggesting WWE is planning a significant angle during the event to build anticipation for the upcoming WrestlePalooza.

While he will not be in Paris, Lesnar’s return to WWE is scheduled for next month. He is currently advertised for the September 12 and September 19 episodes of SmackDown. These appearances will lead into his announced match against John Cena at WrestlePalooza on September 20 in Indianapolis.

The match against Cena was set up by Lesnar’s surprise return at SummerSlam on August 3. Following Cena’s Street Fight with Cody Rhodes, Lesnar appeared and attacked Cena, laying him out with an F5. The encounter is being promoted as the final chapter in their long-running rivalry and was reportedly a match Cena specifically requested for his retirement tour.

Their history includes the infamous 2014 SummerSlam match where Lesnar dominated Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, John Cena is scheduled to compete tonight at Clash in Paris against Logan Paul.
