Triple H Reacts To Roman Reigns Injury At WWE Clash In Paris

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has publicly acknowledged the post-match attack on Roman Reigns at Clash in Paris. Levesque shared a video showing Reigns being stretchered out of the arena after he was assaulted by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed following his opening match.

The attack took place moments after Reigns defeated Reed. As Reigns celebrated, Bron Breakker speared him through the announcers’ table. Reed then joined the assault, and the two hit Reigns with another spear and three of Reed’s Tsunami splashes. The attack escalated as medical staff attended to Reigns, with Reed delivering two more splashes while Reigns was strapped to a gurney.

The match against Reed was a physical contest that saw Reigns secure the victory with a Spear after a Samoan Drop from the second rope. The bout was the culmination of a rivalry where Reed had dubbed himself “The Tribal Thief” and marked Reigns’ first one-on-one match since January.

While presented as a serious injury, the angle serves as the narrative reason to write Reigns off WWE programming. He is scheduled to be away for approximately one month to film his role as the character Akuma in an upcoming Street Fighter movie.

Before the attack by Breakker and Reed, Reigns was also seen applying a guillotine choke to his former manager, Paul Heyman, immediately after his victory.
