WWE Reveals Major Roman Reigns Update After Clash in Paris

Following the attack by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris, WWE has provided an update on Roman Reigns’ condition. During the post-show, Cathy Kelley announced that Reigns will be undergoing an MRI and X-rays. Further details on his status are scheduled to be revealed during this Monday’s episode of Raw in Paris.

The storyline injury occurred after Reigns’ victory over Bronson Reed, which was his first singles match since January 2025. Following the pinfall, Reigns confronted Paul Heyman and applied the Guillotine Choke, leaving Heyman unconscious. As Reigns celebrated on the announce table, Bron Breakker appeared and speared him through an adjacent table, initiating the assault.

Bronson Reed then joined Breakker, delivering multiple Tsunami splashes to Reigns. The attack was so severe that Reigns was stretchered out of the Paris La Défense Arena. The assault continued even as medical personnel were securing him to a gurney, with Reed returning to hit more splashes.

This angle was designed to write Reigns off television for a planned hiatus. He is scheduled to begin filming his role as Akuma in an upcoming Street Fighter movie on September 2, with production expected to last approximately one month.

In the aftermath of the attack, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confronted both Breakker and Reed backstage. He ordered them to leave the building immediately and had security escort them out, threatening suspension without pay if they were to return.
